How To Clean Your Kangen Water System

Cleaning your Kangen Water Machine is easy with the use of Enagic’s reusable e-cleaner cartridge. The very first thing you want to do when you start this procedure is to turn the power off. Once the power is off, it is a good idea to also unplug the machine. Now we’re ready to start!

Unscrew the cap on the cleaning cartridge and fill it with included cleaning powder. Place the top back on and then remove the cover from the front of the machine. There are no screws, bolts or force to deal with. Remove the locking ring around the filter by turning it to the left and then lift the filter. Place the cleaning cartridge in where the filter was before. Replace the locking ring on top of the cleaning cartridge.

Run water through your machine for 10 minutes (don’t worry, it’s not using the filter because your cleaning cartridge is in place). After 10 minutes, you can remove the cleaning cartridge and put the same filter back in your Kangen Water Machine. The cleaning cartridge does not need to clean the filter, but instead the mineral deposits off of the electrolysis plates, or engine of the machine.

Before you turn the power back on, let water run through the hose for about 3 minutes. Put the cover back in place, plug it into an outlet and your Kangen Water Machine is as good as new! This process is recommended to clean your machine once every 6 months to keep your engine and water clean and fresh. This prevents any sort of performance degradation and should keep your Kangen Water Machine and yourself happy and healthy. This kind of maintenance is really quite simple and is no hassle compared to not missing the health benefits that only Kangen Water can offer.
