What Doctors Don’t Tell You ~ pH and Your Health

A major characteristic of Kangen Water is that it is Alkaline. (8.5-9.5 pH). On a pH balance chart, the scale goes from 1 to 14. Strong acids being given the value of 1 and strong alkaline substances being given the maximum value of 14. A neutral pH is at 7 on the chart.

When you drop a pH testing solution into a liquid, the liquid will change color depending on whether the liquid is acidic or alkaline. Our blood’s pH has to be neutral, which is 7.35 to be exact. When the body becomes more acidic, we develop all kinds of sicknesses and diseases. We need alkaline substances to bring the pH of our body back to neutral.

An acidic environment is deadly to marine life. An aquarium needs to maintain a pH of 7.4 to 8.6 in order to survive. Also, plants cannot grow in a very acidic environment. Most plants grow in soil with a pH balance between 6 and 8, which is neutral ground for most plants. Our body is the same. The more acidic our cellular environment is, the more we become susceptible to all kinds of health problems.

When a person is brought to an emergency room, one of the first things they check is the person’s pH balance because a drop of 1 or 2 points can cause a person to fall into a coma. At 2 points below neutral, the person can possibly die. A person with cancer has a very acidic body. It is clinically proven that cancer cells thrive in acidic environments and amazingly, they do not grow in an alkaline environment.

This is why we need to eat a lot of alkaline food like green salad. The problem most people tend to eat too much acidic food (like beef, butter and pasta) and drink too much acidic liquid (like wine, coffee and soda). In fact, 80% of the groceries we buy are acid-forming foods. These contribute to our body’s acidity, which leads to the development of common health problems.
